Coping with life - Support call

I offer your employees assistance and support in periods of need​

  • GAre you going through grief or are you in a difficult period in your life?

  • Do you have sleepless nights and tankdrive?

  • Do you feel that everyday life is not enough?

  • Do you have a reduced ability to work and need adaptations so that you are able to stand at work?

  • Do you want help preventing/reducing sickness absence?

I am used to meeting people with complex health challenges, both physical and psychological. I am keen to meet you where you are. You will be met with an open and curious attitude to what might be the right help for you. In the therapy/guidance, I want to facilitate a safe relationship so that the individual can own their own process. I will accompany you in that process as a guide and help you through it. The journey itself is yours, and the destination is yours, as a "Sherpa" I help you along the way. A "Sherpa" makes sure you have everything you need to make the journey, walks beside you, supports and motivates you along the way, and helps you reach your goal. 

My contribution is to help self-help and contribute to increasing the quality of life. Helping you to increase awareness of who you really are and what your values are, so that you can make active choices to get closer to your goal. You will learn to know your own resources and strengths rather than your limitations, and direct your focus towards what you want more of in your life. You will learn to focus on the conditions you want to change and what you have to accept / let go of. The awareness of this and the small changes you are willing to make will lead you in the direction of obtaining a better life.

I use various tools as help for self-help such as: cognitive therapy (KBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) and the guidance method from the motivational interview (MI). In addition to this, I use experience-based learning from life (private and work context). I offer everything from a single lesson to a longer course.

Support call 1:1 NOK 1,200 per 60 min.

My experience with Alan was filled with support, warmth, and acceptance. I was empowered to reflect on my feelings, be honest with myself and name what I really wanted and needed. I appreciated being challenged and asked the hard questions to deepen my self-awareness and self-acceptance.  I found the journaling/reflection tool to name the 1) situation, 2) thoughts, 3) Feelings, 4) My body, and 5) my actions to be the most useful tool I learned.
